CT Maternity Photo Session

Beautiful Andrea contacted me when she was 36 weeks pregnant to book her ct maternity photo session and newborn photo session. Of course, time was of the essence, so we braved the 20 degree weather.  We met at The Bartlett Arboretum in Stamford, CT. Despite the cold, it was a beautiful day with a great sunshine. Yes, my fingers froze and were barely working by the end of her session, but it was so worth it. Andrea was such a trooper in her beautiful dress and in my maternity gown. Meanwhile, I was all bundled with a coat and hat and still freezing. Their baby girl will be here any day now. I can’t wait to meet her for her newborn photo session!

Weston CT Newborn Photographer

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing sweet Tabitha (yes, what a fabulous name!) for her newborn photography session in her home in Weston, CT. We had to reschedule once due to a snowstorm, and this little cutie was 4 weeks old for her newborn session, but she rocked it. She is so welcomed and loved by her Mom and Dad, and if it’s possible, even more so by her big sister Mia. We used natural light for Tabitha’s photo session, excluding the family shots…I always use a strobe for the family shots. As an in-home newborn photographer, I am always prepared for every scenario 🙂 The adorable, wrinkly pup in the photos is named Bunk! I wanted to take him home, along with Tabitha and Mia! Tree Farm Family Photography Session in the Snow

I met this beautiful family for the first time this year for a tree farm family photography session in the snow. They were troopers and decided to keep their session despite the forecast. And I am so happy they did. I think the snow added a great ambiance for their Christmas card photos. These boys were so adorable and enjoyed playing in the snow.

Tree Farm Family Snow Session

Who says you can’t have a photo session in the winter? I absolutely love the results of this photo session that took place during a snow storm. Nothing beats a tree farm family snow session. This great family drove all the way from NY in the snow storm for their photo session at a Tree Farm in Hamden. The bonus was they got to get their tree after their session. Little Benjamin is absolutely adorable. The last time I saw him was for his newborn session just over a year ago. I love my FJP families!
