This little guy made his mom and dad wait over a week after their estimated due date for his debut, so we had to wait to schedule his newborn photography session. Being a CT newborn photographer, I am used to adjusting dates and rescheduling newborns, so it was not a big deal for me, but having been in the situation waiting for my own babies to come, I know how excruciating those days can be for the parents. But I definitely think he was worth every second of the wait 🙂 Weighing in at 8lbs 4oz, Carter may be the smallest New York Yankees fan around. He was 8lbs of pure sweetness, with the cutest little face, and he made my job as a newborn photographer easy!

When Emilia’s Mom called me to book her newborn photography session, baby Emilia was already here. Although she called when she had planned to according to her estimated due date, she did not anticipate baby Emilia would already be born. Emilia could not wait any longer and came into this world 3 weeks early, surprising mom and dad. She was a tiny little one, weighing in at 5lbs 14oz. I think she was looking forward to meeting her older sister Reese (who stole my heart at the newborn photography session). Have I said lately I love being a newborn photographer?

Baby Vivian not only made her debut a week early, she came in quite a hurry! It seems a lot of my recent newborns came into the world with quite an entrance, and Vivian was no exception. On March 9th, labor went from 0-60 very quickly, and mommy and daddy were lucky to make it to the hospital in time.  With barely time to settle in, and quite the whirlwind, she was here! All 9lbs of her! Vivian was just 12 days old for her newborn photography session in West Hartford, CT. She was an absolute doll for her session, and of course, big brother and big sister couldn’t get enough of her! Thank you Vivian for making this newborn photographer’s job easy, and congratulations to mom and dad!

Emma made mom and dad wait just a couple of extra days for her. She wanted to make sure they were ready to handle all her cuteness! Although she made them wait for her debut, once she decided it was time to come, she did not hesitate and was born shortly after mom and dad arrived at the hospital (I think she couldn’t wait for her newborn photography session). Weighing in at 6lbs 13oz, Emma was born on February 12th, 2014. She was just 9 days old at the time of her newborn photography session, and she rocked it! Isn’t she just gorgeous? Gosh, I love being a newborn photographer 🙂

I met little Quinn when he was only 4 days old at his in-home newborn photo session in Milford (Fairfield County). Quinn was wide awake and ready for me to do his newborn photography. Little did he know we wanted him to sleep for those sweet newborn posing shots. He loved to be held and would doze off in someone’s arms, but the second he was laid down, he woke up. I think he was just so happy to finally be here that he didn’t want to miss a thing 🙂 Although his session did not end up being filled with sleeping baby photography, I think he rocked his newborn session wide awake. Congratulations to Mom and Dad, and of course big brother Tristan!
