Connecticut Family Photographer – The Lamb Family

I cannot say enough good things about this family. I fell in love with them almost instantly! To be honest, I was a little nervous going into the session. Why, you ask? Because there is 1 8 year old and FOUR 5 years olds. Yep, you heard that right. QUADRUPLETS!!! I very quickly realized I had no reason to be nervous. They were 5 adorable, polite, fun-loving, well behaved and happy kids. It was so much fun for me to see and work with each of their unique personalities. I imagine it is very tiring for Mom and Dad, but they are so blessed to have such a wonderful family. And if you ever need a babysitter, you know where to find me…I am not only a connecticut family photographer 🙂

A little bit about Isaiah. He is the cutie in the peach shirt. He was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when he was 3 and he needs out help. Now that he is getting older and is able to ambulate himself using his walker and wheelchair, his family is finding that the lack of accessibility in their home is the only thing prohibiting his independence.  Isaiah is hardworking and persistent and always faces challenges head on. What a gorgeous family I got to photograph as a family photographer. The boys were just adorable, and the family interaction was so full of love. There is something so special about the bond between brothers. They will have each other for life. The boys enjoyed playing in the flowers for their spring mini session.

This poor family got the worst of the rain. By the time of their childrens photographer photo session there was a steady drizzle. However, they were troopers and we proceeded with the session. We actually had a little fun with it. Little Leo was almost one, so this was a perfect time for their photo session. We got some keepers for sure, and even a bunch before they were too wet…lol! There is something about the reality of them that I love in the ones where you can see they are getting wet. They are such an easy-going family, and I think it is really reflected in their session. And of course, some of them are just too funny not to share…

Ah, Spring! There is nothing better than the first flowers of the year and the warmer weather after a cold, long winter. My annual children’s photographer spring mini sessions did not fail us this year. The flowers were gorgeous and the families were great! Despite a little unexpected rain, it was a great success. Here is 1 family’s spring mini session, just in time for this little guy’s 1st birthday. I love to see the children’s grow, and I feel so grateful and blessed that I get to be a part of their journey. I had the pleasure of doing both Elizabeth and Matthew’s newborn photo sessions, and continue to enjoy seeing them and photographing them as they grow.

I had the pleasure of meeting the most adorable 6 week old twins, Gavin & Finn for their ct newborn twins photo session. Although they were older than a typical newborn for their session, they rocked it! Being a little older, their personalities were more developed, and you could really see it. They were both so content. Gain is the bigger of the twins, which is why Finn got the shorter name. Both boys are such a welcome addition to this gorgeous family, and big brother Shane is great with them (despite the fact that he did not want to hold them). Welcome to the world Gavin and Finn!
